We don't know what is inside of Gore's home, nor do we know what is in Bush's home. I think Gore is more talk than action and can easily spend a few of his big bucks on green power similar to Bush. They can both do whatever makes them happy - but I prefer leaders who lead by example whether it's a person or corporation like google and apple, than those who preach big and do small.

Re: Al Gore’s Home or George Bush’s Ranch

Might not seem quite so bad if you figure that of those twenty rooms, about twelve are offices, with all the bells and whistles any good executive has at his command. Granted, A computer and A printer don't cost a lot to operate, but when you have four or five, minimum, of each, plus a server or two, and copiers, and the air conditioning required to keep all that additional space heated and cooled, a lot of the HOME costs drop like a rock. Not sure how the billing is on that, but would say that way over half of all the energy consumed by that place is for office use. Bush doesn't run a major operation out of his home, so his costs aren't going to include the office heat and cool, plus all the extra power for lights and electronics.

Re: Al Gore’s Home or George Bush’s Ranch

It's not the cost - he could be spend 20,000 a month.
